The center, in which the sky and the earth meet, there is the axis of the world, or a point of encounter of the sky with the earth and hell. The mountain Meru, the mountain Sumeru, the mountain Elburz or the mountain Zinnalo – all of these centers that create a bridge between these two worlds-dur-an-ki like „a ribbon between the sky an the earth“ the center for itself, a place within the space of absolute reality. One will always find the way towards this place full of dangers and exploits and this is what makes us believe that one will find himself within everything that is real.

These difficulties are the ones that establish the path towards the I, towards the central point of our being. This turns everything into a ritual or pilgrimage that reveal a way between the profane and the sacret, the dead and the living or the hidden and the visible.

In India „before placing one single stone…the astrologer indicates the point of the foundation that goes above the snake holding the world. The Master Alba-Nil sculpts a statue of wood out of the tree jadira and digs it into the ground, hitting it with a coconut, exactly to its designaed point to support the head of the snake.“ Above that post a stone of busepadmacila is being placed. The stone is this angle finds itself exactly in the center of the world.“

In „in illo tempore“ the image finds itself under a constant tension, establishing in its own power to show itself or to stay hidden. This image can only exist in this point or center. It is that place, where the basic or original principles of the picture express themselves to create an idea. This illusion es being projected on the lifeless ribbon that is being turned into an existing space or the living „principle of all genesis“.

The thread or the ribbon is being used as a mediator between the sky and the earth, that, in his constant turn around his own axis, evoces a continous movements of a body that transforms gradually – gradually over time that is being reinforced with the particular time of video.

Only one other image can be the support that maintains and anchors the center, it is the stone that indicades the foundation and holds together the world, it is the head of the snake that falls and fixes to build and rise a creation.
